The building had a unique charm with its colonial style and beautiful courtyard. the common areas, including the kitchen and terraces, were spacious and enjoyable for relaxing. the staff was extremely friendly and always ready to assist.
Our bed was quite squeaky, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully. the electric showers did not provide hot water consistently, and the neighborhood felt a bit unsafe, especially at night.

The room I stayed in at Huaraz Colonial was fantastic! It had a private entrance, a kitchenette, and even a balcony where I could enjoy the view. I loved having the option to make my own tea and coffee in the room. Plus, the garden view was so refreshing!
For me, the only downside was that not all the rooms had a terrace. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The communal area at Huaraz Colonial is really spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed hanging out there and meeting other travelers. The kitchen is big and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. Additionally, the location is great as it is close to the city center and the street market. we had a pleasant stay at Huaraz Colonial.

The rooftop view was absolutely stunning, with snow-capped peaks in the distance. We spent many romantic evenings up there, soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Additionally, the spacious private room was a great choice for our romantic escape. The tiny but hot shower was a nice touch and added to the overall comfort of our stay.
The wifi in the dorm was quite unreliable and didn't reach us, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, the included breakfast was not served early enough for those going on early tours, causing us to miss out on it.

Great value for money with a spacious room and comfortable bed. The hotel is conveniently located near local markets and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay.
The breakfast option could be improved by adding a filter system for drinking water.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
